Pet food Ingredient Blending J-Six Enterprises

Fairview Mills knows that pet food and ingredients are often cheaper to transport in bags than loose products. Fairview Mills is one the many J-Six Enterprises divisions. We have the infrastructure to handle your bulk, loose pet food ingredients, and then bag them to your specifications. This allows you to easily move your products from raw product into ready-to use pet food. For example, send us whole corn. We will unload it and mill it. Then, we'll package it in the way you want. Your raw corn will now be ready for the next phase in the petfood processing industry.

THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT

You want to ensure that your pet food ingredients are packaged in bags or totes. The pet food ingredient packaging process involves running each pet food product through an analytics lab to verify its moisture levels and nutrient breakdown. After that, we vigorously sift the ingredients, to eliminate as much chaff or dust as possible. This process improves the quality of your pet foods ingredients. However, it also ensures that fifty-pound bags are filled with your product. If you are able to trust that a bag of fifty pounds of corn flour is actually fifty, you will be able track inventory more accurately.

50 Pound Bag - Perfect For Pallets

For clients who require stackable bags, fifty-pound bags are an excellent choice. They can be stored individually or in palleted stacks. You can choose from a variety of materials and sealing methods to make these bags. Multi-wall paper bags, which are eco-friendly alternatives to plastic bags, are usually sealed by sewing or pinching. There are many options for polyethylene bags, including polypropylene bags. They can be heat sealed or sewn sealed. The fifty-pound bags are for ingredient packaging only, and not as finished product packaging. This packaging is ideal for pet food ingredients and allows for easy transport and storage.

1000 Pound Tote - Poly Lining!

Totes that can carry large quantities of pet foods and pet ingredients with ease are a great option. Our 1000 pound bags are perfect for transporting bulk pet foods ingredients. These durable totes are reinforced with poly-lined. The exterior fabric is covered with a poly lining that will prevent any small particles from getting lost in the poly lining. These large capacity containers are designed for storage and transport, not final packaging. Before filling these bags weighing over a thousand pounds with quality products, we run the ingredients of your pet food through our sifting machine.

2000 Pound Super Saack - Our largest size for pet food ingredient bulk storage

This bulk bag, also known as a supersack, is one our most popular options when it comes to contract packaging. Super sacks have the ability to hold over a ton (or more) of pet food, as well as pet ingredients. These bags are durable and tough. These super sacks can either be stored or transported on their own. The box-corner design of super sacks allows them to be stacked one on top of the other. Before filling these two-and-a-half thousand pound bags with quality products, we run pet food ingredients through our sifting machine. These large capacity containers are not meant to be used as product packaging but for transport and storage.

Dry pet foods are made by mixing dry and wet ingredients together to form a dough. In the extrusion process, the dough is heated under pressure, then pushed through a die machine that cuts the kibbles. Kibble size and shape varies according to the product specification. The kibbles are dried, cooled and spray coated.
